Fleet Junior Chess Club with training from former World U18 Champion and Grandmaster Nick Pert

The Fairway, Farnborough (near Runabout)
Located between Fleet and Farnborough (approximately 7 minutes drive from Fleet High Street). Email  for any queries.

Thursdays - 21 Sep, 5 Oct, 9 Nov, 23 Nov, 7 Dec 2017.

A fantastic self contained venue, with lots of free parking, a large adjacent bar area for parents to wait and many other facilities including snooker tables. The bar is usually open for drinks and snacks from 7pm. Parents who are non members are asked to make a 50p donation to enter the club (no charge for children).

5.50-6.20; Beginners Club
For juniors up to and including year 3 (siblings also welcome).
Primarily run by Ken Coates, assisted by Andrew Kirby and James Love
Special Rate - £3

6.30-7.30; Main Club
All juniors welcome. Juniors will be divided into groups by ability with a 20 minute lesson and 40 minutes of guided practice games.

Special Rate - £5

7.40-8.40; Extra Training Session 
Each week will focus on a certain topic through a combination of teaching and practice. 7 December is likely to be a fun blitz event open to all levels to finish off the series. This group is aimed at players who compete in tournaments or are amongst the strongest players in their school club. Please email fleetchess@gmail.com if you are unsure whether it is suitable for your child. It is envisaged that this group will be smaller than the main club and the coaching will be at a higher level.
